Port City Shakedown offers you and your guests an upscale, sophisticated, high energy, live music experience. Performing over 50 events a year, two thirds of those being weddings and private/corporate parties, gives PCS the experience and confidence your event deserves.

From ceremony services, DJ music for cocktail, dinner and band breaks, to MC services throughout the event, PCS will deliver professional booking and planning, and of course, an 7 piece male/female fronted dance band. Additional packages available

Time of reception is 4-5 hrs and starts with the cocktail and ends with send off/exit. Does not include the ceremony or early setup services if applicable. Please inquire if additional time is needed

Ceremony Packages

CEREMONY PACKAGE A

  • 1-2 microphones and speakers for officiate and/or readings (1 wireless lapel and 1 wireless microphone).

  • Pre-recorded music played during the prelude, processional, recessional, and postlude

  • 1 Engineer to monitor sound during service

CEREMONY PACKAGE B

  • 1-2 microphones and speakers for officiate and/or readings. (1 wireless lapel and 1 wireless microphone)

  • 1 Engineer to monitor sound during service

CEREMONY PACKAGE C

  • Pre-recorded music played on iPad and speaker during the prelude, processional, recessional, and postlude

  • 1 Engineer to monitor sound during service

The artistry and talent Port City Shakedown brings to their performance is priceless. Live solos on guitar, trumpet, keyboards, bass and drums are not something you or your guests see or hear everyday.

ADDITIONAL MUSICIANS / ADD-ON SERVICES

Port City Shakedown is a powerhouse party/dance band. For those who want to take the already explosive core group up a notch, you can add an additional horn player or a percussion player. This is live music at its most exciting, and a night you & your guests will never forget!

They are here to assist you with the music entertainment for your ceremony, cocktail, elegant dinner, or any other specialized event. They work closely with top musicians in the community, giving you the option of adding a solo musician to your event, ceremony, cocktail or dinner party.

In order to do that, we use a collaborative Google spreadsheet that allows you to list all activities, songs and special music requests.
